Book and pre-pay to go straight to the confirmed rider's list, otherwise you will go to the waiting list.

If you have pre-booked, but not pre-paid you must sign on by 9:30am or you may lose your spot.

You will recieve an email to tell you how to pre-pay once you have booked.

Hampton Downs

We hope to start running Twilight sessions in December at Hampton Downs.

We will run TWO groups only, each group limited to 35 riders. Riders will get FOUR x 15 min sessions.

Sign-on starts at 3pm and we will be on track at 4.30 sharp. Sessions end at 7pm.

Riding sessions

Riders will be broken into 3 groups depending on skill level and confidence.  It is up to the rider to decide which group to enter and they may change during the day if they feel they have chosen the wrong level.
 

• Each group will have at least 5 sessions of 15 minutes each
• Riders will assemble 5 minutes before their session starts
• There will be a lead rider for the first session of each group (2 laps) to familiarise yourself with the track.  No passing lead rider!
• A yellow flag means caution – slow down, be aware
• A red flag means the session has stopped - return safely to the pits, do NOT stop on the track!
• A black flag - a KiwiTrackDays representative will indicate to an individual rider to exit to pit lane.  This may be required in the event of a mechanical fault or rider indiscretion
• Any rider may be excluded at the organiser’s discretion
• Dangerous or erratic riding may result in rider exclusion

Riding rules

• RIDE AT YOUR OWN PACE!
• The overtaking rider is responsible for the passing manoeuvre
• The rider being passed must hold their line
• Riders in the slow or medium groups must not pass on the inside at a corner
• Riders must signal with a hand or leg gesture when exiting the track
• Riders must wear appropriate safety gear
• Dangerous riding will NOT be tolerated
